Where SocialCarousels should be listed, and where not.
An AI tool that turns an article, URL or idea into a LinkedIn carousel from inside ChatGPT or Claude.

The plan at a glance
Three moves, in order.
We checked every directory we track against what your site says about itself. Most were not worth your afternoon. These are.
- 01This week10 directories, about 3.1 h of forms
Submit all 10 this week; 3 should be live within two weeks, 1 sit in longer queues, 6 don't publish a review time. Once live, 10 carry a followed link. Start with Startup Stash, AI Tools Directory and BetaList.
- 02Launch window · from Tue 6 OctProduct Hunt, then Fazier
The product is live and has never launched. Two weeks of prep; the date is yours to move.
- 03When you have customersCapterra, SourceForge and G2
Review marketplaces rank by reviews, so they pay off once ten customers will write one. Claim the free profiles now.
What it costs: $104.80 in listing fees across 8 paid directories; 4 don't publish a price; $92 more would skip the queues on 4 freemium ones, optional. The listing kit on page 12 has the tagline, description and asset list every form asks for.
Followed link from day one. DR 65, about 29K visits a month. ContentDrips is already listed here.
What we found
How your site reads to a stranger.
Read from your home page, pricing and FAQ. This is the profile every directory was matched against, so if something here is wrong, the plan is wrong too.
SocialCarousels renders real 1080×1350 slides from a prompt, a URL or a PDF, right inside a ChatGPT or Claude chat. Three templates, brand kits from a URL, and a LinkedIn-ready PDF export. Free to try without signing in; Pro is $19 a month for 100 carousels and no badge.

Where you stand
A young domain with a foothold.
Your backlink profile today, and the directories that already list you. Directory links are usually the first ten referring domains a new site gets; the goal of this plan is to make them the right ten.
Keywords you already rank for
| linkedin carousel generator | #38 |
| ai carousel maker | #51 |
| chatgpt linkedin carousel | #9 |
1 of your top 3 keywords sit in the top ten. Followed links from category directories are the cheapest way to move the unbranded terms.
Directories that list you today
- There's An AI For ThatnofollowTraffic only. Fine as is.
- SaaSHubstaleOld tagline and screenshots. Refresh it.
- Indie Hackersdead linkPoints at a 404. Fix the URL in your listing.
- Future ToolsfollowedPassing authority. Keep it.
Authority against your competitors
- Predis.ai
- ContentDrips
- PostNitro
- SocialCarousels
SocialCarousels is indexed and has a handful of real links, which is the floor most directories want before approving a listing. The followed links in this plan matter more than the traffic. 4 directories already list you, 1 with a followed link. 1 dead listing and 1 stale one are quick fixes worth doing before anything new.
Competitor gap
13 places your competitors are and you are not.
Where Predis.ai, ContentDrips, PostNitro are listed, against where you are. A directory that lists two of your competitors is one your buyers use to compare tools, which makes it a relevance signal, not proof of demand.

Plus 2 more where one competitor is listed: Startup Stash, Microlaunch.
10 of the 13 gaps are already in this plan, so closing them is a side effect of the pages that follow. The ones marked skipped failed a rule that applies to you and not to them, usually a launch we are holding for later.
Submit this week · 1 of 3
Ten directories worth your afternoon.
10 permanent listings, ranked by what the link is worth against what it costs you. About 3.1 h of forms. Publication depends on each directory's review: 3 should be live within two weeks, 1 sit in longer queues, 6 don't say. Once live, 10 carry a followed link.

Pick a launch
Product Hunt, in a window from 6 October 2026.
A launch is a one-day spike, and you only get one first launch per platform. Nothing in the signals says wait; the date is a suggestion, two weeks out so the prep below fits. Move it if the list of people you can ask is not ready.
What the signals say
- The product is live with public pricing (freemium).
- 31 sites already link to you, which is what launch platforms check before featuring a product. It says nothing about who will show up on the day; that list is built in the next two weeks.
- No Product Hunt launch found for the domain.
- Logo and social image are in place; the gallery needs three or four screenshots.
- Domain is 11 months old.
What Product Hunt asks for
- A free personal Product Hunt account; company or brand accounts are not allowed
- The product's URL to start the submission flow
- A launch day and time(12:01 am Pacific suggested) and people willing to visit and comment
- Prepared launch assets per the Launch Guide checklist
Two weeks, four checkpoints
- Tue 22 SeptWrite the tagline, first comment and three screenshots. Start the list of people you will ask to show up.
- Sun 27 SeptSchedule the launch, set up the maker profile, warm up on LinkedIn with a teaser carousel.
- Mon 5 OctEverything staged; the launch goes live 12:01 am Pacific, which is the afternoon in Sydney.
- Tue 6 OctReply to every comment for twelve hours. Post the Product Hunt launch on LinkedIn, Indie Hackers and Show HN the same day.
We can't predict placement; it depends on who shows up, and nobody outside Product Hunt can see the vote weighting. We can say what you get regardless: a day of traffic from a DR 91 site, a badge and a permanent page, and the listings on smaller sites that copy Product Hunt's feed. The link is nofollow either way.
Followed link from day one. DR 83, about 1K visits a month. PostNitro is already listed here. Do it a week after Product Hunt while the assets are fresh.
SocialCarousels ships as a ChatGPT and Claude connector. Those platforms run their own listings with a review process unlike anything on this list, and that is where your users already are. Treat them as a separate submission with its own assets; we will cover them in a follow-up.
When you have customers
Park these until ten people will vouch for you.
Review marketplaces have the biggest domains on this list and the buyer intent to match, but they rank products by review count and charge per click for the good placements. Claim the free profile now; push for reviews once ten customers will write one.
Free profile on the G2-owned review site; only sponsored pay-per-click profiles get a Visit Website button.
Huge B2B software review site; claiming a listing is free but Visit Website buttons are paid and nofollow.
Free B2B software review profile, vetted in 3-5 business days, but the website button is a nofollow redirect.
Next month: 12 more, about 4 h of forms
Lower authority or a longer queue than the top ten, still positive value. Batch them once the first ten are live.
| Directory | DR | Link | Cost | Hurdle |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | Dofollow | Free | none | |
| 75 | Dofollow | $39 | Needs people to upvote on the day | |
| 75 | Nofollow | Free | none | |
| 39 | Dofollow | $1 | $1 listing fee | |
| 49 | Nofollow | $3 | Add their badge to your site; $3 listing fee | |
| 68 | Dofollow | not stated | Cost not published | |
| 45 | Dofollow | Freemium | none | |
| 54 | Nofollow | Freemium | none | |
| 84 | Nofollow | $19 | Add their badge to your site | |
| 53 | Dofollow | Freemium | Add their badge to your site | |
| 62 | Dofollow | $19 | Add their badge to your site; $19 listing fee | |
| 80 | Nofollow | $5 | Free queue up to 17 weeks, $5 skips it |
Not for you, and not yet
48 to skip, 46 to keep for later.
Every directory we track is accounted for. Half of what is left would reject you or give you nothing; the other half is good, just not this month. The number after each name is its domain rating.
Not for you
Lower value for the effort
39Eligible, but a weaker link, a fee or a long queue outweighs the authority. Revisit with a budget.

How links are classified
"Followed" means the link on an ordinary free listing carried no nofollow, ugc or sponsored hint on the day we checked. Where a directory only follows verified or paid listings, the report says what unlocks it. Google treats all three hints the same way.
How the ranking works
Eligibility first: 4 directories would reject the product outright. Then fit: each remaining directory is scored against its own rules and audience for this product, and anything that would be rejected or ignored is set aside. Then value: domain rating weighted by link type, plus traffic, minus fees, queue time and effort.
Directories change their rules and their queues. Paste socialcarousels.com at rankplan.io any time for a fresh copy; listings you have completed are marked automatically.
Domain Rating by Ahrefs (ahrefs.com). Visits are estimated monthly organic visits. Directory rules, links and costs are read from each directory's own pages. This sample's founder profile is hand-written; everything else is live data.
